Nokia N86 8MP starts shipping, cameraphone fans leap with joy

Today Nokia finally announced the start of the shipping of the highly awaited Nokia N86 8MP smartphone. Usually the model can be expected to actually hit the shelves within a week of such announcement...

Wow they are releasing it now, when Samsung have already launched 4 or 5 phones with 8mp cameras. Sony Ericsson has also launched their c905 months ago. Nokia finishes last.

    this is the most innovative camera phone ever,cz this 1 comes with complete camera boost rather thn only pixel.
    whn talking about innovation in camera phone thn-

    wide angle lens-1st comes from nokia
    machanical shutter-1st comes from nokia
    variable aperture-1st come from nokia

    if only pixel was all about innovation thn all expert might bought 24mgp+

    innovation not comes with only pixel it should be a complete package...

    finally its time to buy this phone :-))).......keep going nokia,whtevr said leader knows hw to lead......

      SMART, 10 Jun 2009I think this phone is over priced considering the features ... moreyou know pixels just give you the bigger image this is closer quality to digital cameras than we've seen before.

          I think this phone is over priced considering the features on it, unlike samsung who already have a 12mp product, this is poor from nokia.

            It seems that nokia gets slow it terms of producing highly efficient product, unlike Samsung andSony Ericsson they have already a 12 mp camera phone and to just that these phone are also Smartphone’s.

              yup big whoopie, not. Nokia's new imaging flagship without a Xenon flash. How could this possibly replace my Nokia N82.
