Anonymous, 15 Sep 2014All Amoled screens are going to burn in! This is the nature... moreDoes that mean that all LCD'S will have dead pixels? That it's the nature of their technology?

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2014the difference is the iphone out performs its cross rivals ... moreNope. It's does some things milo scenes faster because of its massive system wide restriction and overall lack of features. That's it.
Plus IOS is still the World's leader of app crashes. Let's just hope they tool care of the extra weight, lags, and freezing they added. Top it off with restrictions and mountains of bugs....
The experience is not that amazing.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2014There is a huge difference. It's not just bashing. It's see... morethe difference is the iphone out performs its cross rivals in performance tests, which is the most important.. Such as the iphone5s doing much better then the s5. and yes, this is correct, the iphone5s vs the galaxy s5. I didn't mean the s4 since that was suppose to be it's main rival, but it was good enough to beat the s5. it also has better long term value use, better customer service and higher resell rate.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2014Of course they don't mention that the AMOLED screen is goin... moreFirst off they don't have to mention a lie.
"Are going to burn in"....
In correct fact made by jelly fans. Amoled can have burn. Not will. And it is nota very common occurrence. I've never seen one in person ever. That's like saying android is full of viruses.
Second most people know that Amoled does not lady as long. However they still last for many years.
Plus they do discuss the difference in efficiency of the different pixels which is why Samsung came up with the very smart diamond pixels.
Anyway I still have an Samsung Omnia HD from 2009. The first phone with large Amoled screen... and first HD capable device.
Display still looks beautiful.

AnonD-183154, 15 Sep 2014DisplayMate has been part of Samsung's marketing stooge sin... moreTry thinking before posting please.
Neither display mate nor Samsung every claimed there was not shift. They even state there still is.
All screens do...duh?
But one of the great things about the oled displays are the much the rate of shift.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2014how come a 5.7 QHD display is more efficient than a 5.1 108... moreWell for one it's Amoled efficiency verses LCD. And Amoled uses much less overall power.
Plus Samsung has been hard at work reducing the power consumption through improvements in the technology and the drivers.

Muthu, 15 Sep 2014Thanks Samsung - ok. Apple go out - why? This world can exi... moreThere is a huge difference. It's not just bashing. It's seeing the reality of it. And that has nothing to do with hypocrisy thank you.
Android flagships may be a little pricy, but at least they offer the latest and greatest technology. That combined with the most functional, adaptive, and nearly most stable software for that price.
IPhone costs the same or more than those flagships with nothing to show for it. With cheaper hardware that is altogether anywhere from 2-5 years behind with one or two minor new things. Topped with software that is nothing but restrictions, control, and lacking. In some ways is more than a decade outdated.
It's so much more in depth. It's a scam. And some people are just not blind to it and speak the truth.

Well duh. Like anyone was not expecting this haha.
The S4 came with a display that was top notch then the Note 3, S5, and then S5 LTE-A just demolished all other screens.
The improvement in the note 4 was to be expected.
While I'm not so sure it's color accuracy is that perfect it still makes the overall best.

I remember that S5 was supposed to be the best of the best, and now they say that note 4 is the best of the best? Sorry, but I don't value at all what displaymate has to say about Samsung displays - worth pointing out, for some time they review only Samsung mobile displays...
