China should give pressure to reduce the price also because apple is selling cheaper hardware phone even lesser BOM than Xiaomi in very expensive to retailers. So apple stops just to be rich and starts people's welfare responsibly.

The market took the news in positive. China Mobile argues in support of the common folk to be able to choose from plenty high end 4G/LTE sets available under 1000 Yuan and MADE IN CHINA

I don't understand why people are willing to buy a phone just based on a presentation and nothing else.
The administrative delay only affects China, and how many of the 4.4 million is unknown.
What is apparent is that independent testing by Gsmarena etc will NOT support all the claims made on 09/09/2014.

Android users again, switching phones every year. New update? Game over. guaranteed lag fest. glithces upon glitches, since android is so fragmented, xxxx app might not even work as well on xxxx android phone since it's built differently. it's just so much problems. Yea. didn't samsung had a 20% profit drop last quarter? yea.... figured......
so in the end?? specs means jack. again, if you love the note 4? go ahead and get it. no one cares. the problem right now?

Those preorders alot are for black market.In China you can buy in Hongkong or Macau.This is just a marketing gimmick.It is not available in alot of country on launch so people go to black market to get one.That is the reason there are alot of preorders.
