The update is monstrous in terms of file size!!!! It would take a fast connection for me to download this.I'm from the Philippines and the HSPA and LTE here is so slow.

iPad Mini user from Philippines here..
iOS8 sucks bigtime!!! lags after the update is so visible and noticeable that it makes me just want to throw this away!!! just like what happened to my iPhone4 when i updated it to iOS7!!! my iPad is working fine before this stupid OS update!!! i should've just sticked to iOS7 if i knew this is going to happen.. Apple should be more specific on what iDevices should receive their updates.. do they even try this before they roll it out..!??

This is a major downsize of iDevices!
And you need to wait for another 10 years to have 3GB RAM in your iDevices.

wow, that was a long upload, but it works. works fine on my 4s. lol
any upcoming articles or people claiming it "struggles' on the 4s is probably a liar or a android user posing as a so called iphone user.

Andrew, 17 Sep 2014Critism of being behind android with 3rd party keyboards an... moreMaybe that would be the case if it were more stable but it has been proven ios7 is less stable (more app fc's)than kitkat 4.4 with way less functionality. Plus you have apple vetting all apps so this should be the complete opposite. So you have a more closed os, less functionality and its less stable.

use itunes to update , its a lot faster and you need less than 5gb of free space to do it
