If s4 has better spec or config than alpha then why alpha? Pretty sure that s5 is cheaper when its officialy announced price but mark my words this alpha thing is gana b cheaper than s5 after few months... Or this should be in range to get a good sale at least...

Samsung is such a monster that they had to produce a lower specs smartphone to compete with the new iphone6. Seriously Samsung S5 and Note 4 is to much tech for Iphone. Im sorry to say that but everybody knows is the true.

Probably the best looking phone from Samsung.
But not sure about its price tag. Should be priced around 450$s considering the prices of other android compact phones.

Ugly phone with ugly software(Touchwiz) ... and un-optimized OS, pathetic memory management which needs cores and cores and looooot of RAM to run mobile OS. huh...We are not going to install "Ansys" on mobile ... Such specs only attracts dumb srry advanced people who unnecessarily show off. Irritating ....
Android manufactures should learn from iOS and iPhone who's smoothness is mile ahead, graphics are superb and user experience is satisfactory !!!! I use iPhone 5s and galaxy 4 (I wasted money - Samsung should take it and give my money back)

Screen is better on Alpha, and Alpha has 20nm Exynos and S801. Is extremely more compact.
Despite the Z3c having 8MP it's really not that much better except low light.
While Alpha is better at video and features and about equal in daylight. That's more impressive.
Headphone output should be better too.
Plus you get all the Touchwiz features. So it's not all just in what you think/want.

kmb97, 19 Sep 2014I would choose Z3 compact instead...As spec is better, better camera, water proof, lower price, better looking (subjective), larger battery and can use microSD card on the Z3 compact. While Galaxy Alpha is a silly product try to be an iPhone. Come on, Samsung don't fully understand what iphone user wants.
