Same here. I wanted a new phone this year but after Samsung let us S3 owners down I decided 'never again', so I went for the Nexus 5. I will never touch another Samsung phone again!

I've had the official Samsung KitKat release on my Note 2 for months now with no issues at all.

even 2014-2015 iphone can run on 1GB ram, I am sure 2012-2013 SIII with 1GB of ram can run android L.

Are we idiots who wait for the updates by buying flagships and wait the hell out of frustration !! i paid 800$ for my note 3 and still didnt get any update!! neither i know if i would get upsm or new ui from s5 !!
i would have been happy to atleast know by when i gng to get the update the time frame !!

But 4.3 has disgraced my phone gti 9300 . It worked better on latest 4.2.2
