AnonD-222610, 29 Sep 2014Off topic. I'm talking about Oneplus selling won't go well ... moreGiven the choice between OnePlus One and iPhone 6+ (since they're in the same league), I would choose One.

Why? Because it's rare! People around the world are just staring at us with jealousy as OnePlus opening their shops here.

Also, launching One here is never too late even though Apple had just outed their iPhones last month. One > iPhones. Better specs, much much lower price (hell I can buy a gaming laptop at iPhone 6 Plus' price), and unique premium built on the 64gb. What's not to like?

Come on, iPhone is soo '12.

anthonycss, 29 Sep 2014you basically just stuck with those so call online enthusia... moreIf I were to do a survey from people on the streets, here in Malaysia, I can guarantee you that 9 out of 10 already knew about OPPO. The Chinese company has spent SO much money on mass media advertising here since N1.

But it would be a different situation when I asked them about OnePlus One. Maybe 2 out of 10 knows OPO. Hell, if I were to ask people anywhere in the world, the above mentioned situation would happen too, since OPO is rare.

Anonymous, 30 Sep 2014I sold my iPhone for a HTC because everywhere I go I see iP... moreI just laugh when they buy an iPhone and think its so cool and they reperesent the higher section of the society.. When now its like even a chaiwala has an iPhone.. And it doesn't even work the way it's supposed to.. Before people spent double and got an iPhone for its performance and no lags or slowing down, but now they don't get even that..
Iphone is just an overpriced device with the same specs for half a decade now, like 3yrs behind the current market and doesn't even do what it's supposed to, run flawlessly..!! So I don't see the reason to get an iphone..

Coming from a H... moreI sold my iPhone for a HTC because everywhere I go I see iPhone has become the new blackberry here in Mumbai India. It's everywhere but not in the hands of upper career, hipsters, smart people. Because Hipsters are buying HTC/Windows, smart people usually buy Nexus 5/MotoG and upper career are usually with samsung. iPhone are used by coffee shop waiters, managers and immigrants from delhi who think it's cool to have. Remember these delhi people walk around Mumbai roads drinking redbull thinking it's cool.

I am from India and I bought oppo find 7a.. Coming from a HTC one, I sold that coz of the purple tint issue in the camera, but I loved HTC for its fluidity and 0 lag performance, the find 7a is a beautiful device.. I got the specs of the latest smartphones with good built quality and seriously the camera can give the G3 a run for its money.. I am looking forward to the oneplus one release in India..

And Apple is outta the race coz Apple just isn't the same anymore.. I have an iPad, after the last update it's become impossible to use.. It hangs and lags and applications crash and Dropbox is impossible to use and all this happened in front of a client.. Thankfully I had my phone that has a good size screen and I could show the images on that.. Even my client was asking which phone is this, I love the way it looks..

Go do a survey on the street, simply pick 10 people randomly and ask if they know OPO or OPPO or not and see how they answer you.

OPPO overpriced china brand imo, if paying for that kinda amount I rather go for bigger brand such like samsung, sony or lg. As for OPO, yes its definitely cheaper awhile back, but for now there plenty of similar price china brand with similar or better specs available. I personally wont buy it as it lacks expansion slot and single sim only.

extremo, 29 Sep 2014Dude, clearly you don't know what phone is hot in Malaysia, What do you even know what about that? Are you a smartphone vendor?
I don't even see anyone using OPPO smartphone at all.

Everytime I go shopping OUTSIDE! I see people eagerly to buy Samsung S5 or Note 3 and meanwhile at 'Machines' bloated with customer buying IGadgets. I haven't see any smartphone vendor display any OPPO brand behind the glass until now.

I can only see OPPO very own stall(2 months ago) selling their latest Find 7/7a for limited time(at Petaling Digital Mall) before they packed up to different location. But their selling does not go well.

BTW as I said before only careless user got their smartphone bent. Only 6/6,000,000 IPhone 6 got their phone bent. Also that joke isn't funny anymore :[
