Does anyone have any news when it will be in Australia and will it be exclusive to certain carriers.....I have been waiting for so long for a new Nokia shock/dust tradie phone......BRING IT ON !!
Why isnt there more apart from Sonim and Samsung....it seems to be a big market for tradesmans .

Or will the numbers rub off like the 5500 Sport?
Or will it be as deathly slow as 5500 Sport?
Or have a menu system as poorly designed as the 5500 Sport?
Because the 5500 Sport was marketed as a "rugged" phone.

Ive been waiting a while for nokia to release a phone like this one. Being a builder, I dont care what the phone looks like as long it does its job and does it with ease. Im hoping this phone has a few good features such as GPS, a loud loudspeaker, a sensitive microphone, browsing capabilities, a torch, an above average battery life all in a smallish package. I think samsung did a great job at designing the B2700, but the phone itself is just rubbish. Ultimately, I would have loved it if nokia had designed something very similar to the E52 in a rugged case, I would have bought it the second it was released.

charles, 24 Jun 2009I am wearing a casio G-shock solar powered, radio controlle... morea watch needs to show time... radio controled, solar powered... in tune with the universe? :) come on. it's supposed to just show time. unless you are some kind of astronaut or something.
anyhow, the device looks quite cool and surely confirms where the manufacturers are going. Also looking forward on getting my hands on it.

I am wearing a casio G-shock solar powered, radio controlled watach to give me the EXACT time of the day, (because that's what a watch needs to do) I am to my third nokia 5410i and will be the first to buy its successor, whatever the price may be, because this phone won't let you down and that's what a phone needs to do. (Okay I admit, you will not impress Bruno with its camp features)

People actually have so low IQ, that they compare this to the N95 and other phones, why don't you compare the Motorola V3 to the Omnia HD while you are at it? This is for use in tough conditions where u can't use your normal phone cause it will probably break. I have a question, do u stup** people wear a suit and tie when you are wroking at a contruction site or hiking outdoors? No u don't, this is the same thing, it's a change of clothes for different conditions, Jesus!

meh nokia same crap when they will ever make a decent phone ? the only good phone they made was the n95.
