For a phone is not important what OS it has. Talk-music-facebook-games, can be done on any OS.
But a tablet with Linux would be interesting.

They haven't even been close to release Ubuntu to MX3 let alone for MX4?... Even you buy current mx3 or Mx4 with flyme os... U can't upgrade to Ubuntu... Have to re purchase again with Ubuntu preinstalled. Meizu famous of not letting end user bootloader unlock their phone. No chance to upgrade yourself.

It would still beat most smartphones in terms of performance and looks. It's because they only gave it one month to raise the funding and they got so close!

I've been waiting for Ubuntu touch to be released, since the failed crowdfunding project of Ubuntu Edge. Hopefully will see this soon!
