I can see why moto X is not that good in specs.. because their time, money and efforts is in this phone and the nexus 6... IMO :D

I used all kinds of roms: official and customs, it got t a point where it ran semi-ok wit android 2.2 after that, even cyanogen generated problems.
All that said... The darn thing wasn't particulary ugly, it was odd, maybe rare... God materials and pretty sturdy, I did drop it counless times and it didn't even break the touch.
Ended up selling it for 100 usd in a pawn shop, back at 2012, those guys at the pawn shop are still cursing me... Lol

And that's a BEAST!!! But one thing should be cleared - the display has to be AMOLED, else it won't support the active display feature. But that's definitely a beast! Pity it's Verizon only. I'm pretty sure the price will be $699 off contract... At least...

Motorola has some great phone. There notification feature is also cool but drains the hell out of the battery

U know, design is up to a particular taste, I don't criticize those companies making odd phones, I actually like they exist and make new proposals. Could you imagine if the automobile industry following this same trend? Man it would be only box shape cars with polished accents... Lol

Motorola and Nokia are/were the only two companies who continuously bothered making distinctive, recognizable designs even into the touchscreen era (OK, maybe Sony too). Some good, some bad, but none of them faceless (see iPhone and clones) and I'd rather have "ugly" than "faceless" any day. Everyone else just makes "me too" "rectangle with square corners" phones.
