Of course, iPhone users doesn't have this option due to non-removable battery.

If they made the battery life a marathon of 110hrs endurance, then they can expect to not sell the Battery Kit at all.

After seeing the battery performance I was looking forward to this update the phone could have got a standby time of 110hours but stuck at 87. Not saying that is bad but the kind of talktime and video playback scores it got.the scores really had me thinking about it. The lumia 1520 is 5hours behind in video playback and just 1h50m ahead on browsing but still gets better standby that was the obvious indicator that something is screwing with its battery.

I suppose they have to do something after the optimized battery test when real world performance tells a different story.

This news is just more reassurance by Sammy and the boys that it was a DARN good move by me for leaving APPLE and their iPhones whom I was loyal to up until last week.

and once rooted and a load of applications are removed from this phone it will last EVEN longer, some apps that you never ever use still run in the background eating away little bits of juice, so top that with very good battery and a software update to further help the battery last even longer i can see this phone doing very well in my daily usage, much better then even my note 3. result, personally i would like phone companies to spend 2015 really developing their battery tech, if motorola can develop high capacity batteries then what is stopping the bigger companies, can you imagine the note 4 with its current configuration with a minimum 4000mAh battery underneath, that would be nice, the processors and most other tech on the flagship phones are already brilliant so why not develop some of the lesser recognised areas of the phone

Alyx, 13 Oct 2014Saying that the iPhone bends sitting on the table is an unf... moreThe issue here is about iPhone 6 plus bending under normal usage. Forces which people have exerted on regular phones for ages now bends the iphone 6 plus, and secondly, it stays deformed.
It`s not about applying excessive force on any phone to bend. Even a plane will bend on excessive force.
