Phone manufacturers like to TELL us what we want instead of ASKING us what we want. I want to update my N5 to a newer model, but I won't be buying this oversized slab of plastic. Goodbye Nexus!

I have always considered the Nexus line as sort of a showcase of all that is great with Android. Sales numbers not being the ultimate target, personally I would have always aimed to make it the Super Flagship phone, sort of the Ultimate Android.
Shame they let the opportunity slip.

Whatever it is Motorola's industrial design has really taken a turn for the worse since being bought by Lenovo.
It's ugly and that's already a deal breaker for me.

Where is Mobilemaster? I told him about Motorola come back and now that they are out of Google hand they are going to hurt Samsung very soon 'cause Lenovo being number one on Computer wanna be number one on phones too. By owning Motorola, Lenovo which already is number 3 best seller of phones including the Motorola sells, Lenovo will gain more ground in Europe, America and Africa and that going to hurt Samsung whom knows how good Motorola hardware can be and well optimized with android OS.

It may be too wide for comfort. The iPhone 6 alone is already mentioned as wide by some people, but helped by its thinness.
If the Nexus is wider, yet thicker too, that may make it harder to sell.

Already the Moto Nexus killing the Galaxy Note 4 what about the iPhone that bended.
Moto Play X on is way too and even better than Nexus 6
