I had wanted a qwerty phone just to save time as I miskeyed a lot using my first full touch
As prices had dropped and I bought the NEAR PERECT Nokia E6, the ONLY problem is for reason unknown Nokia installed a FIXED focus camera (both E71 & E72 auto focus)
The E6 can never, ever, ever, ever read a barcode QR code despite downloading the app due to it having a fixed focus camera
The Classic screen @3.46" is exactly one inch longer than the E6.
The Classic screen is marginally longer than the Q10 but appears so far to be the NON 4G LTE version of Q10 ?
How long were you WEIGHTING?
I don't understand BB as the Classsic 178g weighs more than the iPhone6 Plus @172g
The Passport is also very very heavy @196g
The Q10 being the correct weight you expect qwerty phones to come in at 139g
That said I also do not understand Blackberry current pricing
Two reasons
FIRST; The BB Z10 costs £40 less than the mid range qwerty Q5 http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=5251&idPhone2=5452
SECOND; The BB Z10 costs £280 less than the flagship Z30 having many of the same specs overall

IDK if it is just the BB 10 OS you are after, or a BB qwerty handset.

It looks bit heavy and thicker. But still i am curiously waiting for this phone because of it is a full qwerty keypad phone.

its a mistake to wait to release this. my bold 9900 is falling apart i just want a replacement for it with the same functional design.
The longer they wait the more customers they lose to android phones and iphones.

and bigger screen 3,5" vs 3,1"
overall dimension differences are like comparing 5" android to 4.3"android

I was waiting long months for Classics and hoping that it will fit my demands to change from Nokia E72.
And now everything is ruined.
It is too big and too heavy.
And it even looks a bit cheap. :(
Latest 5" phones are almost the same size. Ok, they are longer, but the same width and much thinner.
For me, as business person, screen size is not main argument, as I don't play games and don't watch movies on my phone.
I was hoping to see something in BB Bold or Nokia E72 size, just with great better hardware (with Nokia E72 is almost impossible to open now days sites, especially with latest java and flash).
Interesting, what Sigmund Freud could say about company's CEO if all their phones are getting bigger?

This phone is not an upgrade for the Q10, is actually a device aimed to all Blackberry users that are still with BB7, this will make their transition to BB10 easier.

I recently bought a bold 9900 just for fun. And guess its looks bold sexy. Honestly I like that classic look. And the q10 is ugly. Compare to my bold. I have seen it though the os is godly better and even this classic looks ugly. I will buy the passport once it arrives here.

These devices were the reason many people moved on from BB as they are just too limited in today's world. The company just seem totally unable to move on from their past. Will Nokia be doing Symbian classic phones next!? Yawwwnnnn.....

Excited for the classic! Regardless of specs, blackberry OS is smooth and amzaing. Blackberry phones are all about quality.
