Sony is a slow poke. They make good stuff but by the time they get their products to market, the competitor has a new one.
Take the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact for example - I would have loved to buy one when they announced it like two months ago. Just this week Google announced the Nexus 9 and Apple the new iPads, both of which will hit the shelves before Sony. Talk of upgrading to Lollipop is just a delay tactic which says to me - "we can't deliver". No wonder their stock is a dud.

Just hope the updates arent as buggy as previous updates i.e. 4.4.2
