LOL moto e has almost same specification as this HTC Desire 516C. Only things the desire has 5" screen. Moto e is also cheaper. HTC, you should put a snapdragon 600, 1.5 or 2 GB RAM, 8 MP back camrera and 2 MP front camera with a screen size of 4.5 - 5.0 inch with corning glass 3. And price should be INR 15-18k ($250-$300).

Just bought the m8 at 35k from amazon.. Would've waited for this had I known.. They should announce or at least give an indication about such a release.. A 13mp dual cam HTC device, seriously the best thing.. Now that makes me a lil sad..

Schnieder, 19 Oct 2014Saw the HTC India website it's really confusing the main pa... moreHTC has 801AB processor with max 2.3Ghz. SG5, OnePlus One have 801AC with max 2.5 Ghz. All have 801s, but different versions which in daily usage are not even visible. Even more, due to the fact that Sense is not so full of bloatware like TouchWiz, in most cases HTC M8 have better score in Antutu as SG5. Only OnePlus One have a better score than both of them, but due to the fact it has 3 Gb RAM and Cyanogen 11S, witch is very close to vanilla Android. In the end, as I said, there are NO notable differences in speed and fluidity in daily usage..

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2014i can't wait for htc's android one.. will buy for my parent... moreHi sorry to disappoint you but HTC will only be part of the Android Silver program. They are not an emerging market phone maker. 'Android One' is only for spice, karbonn etc. Also the HTC M8 Eye is almost a last gen phone. Will wait for the M9.

So the M8 Eye is just a Butterfly 2, but with an aluminum unibody, slightly smaller battery and no waterproofing. The E8 is a better deal than both.
