VLC's Windows 10 Universal app launched

Himanshu, 29 June, 2016

VideoLAN - the company behind VLC, which is arguably one of the most popular media players in the world - has released a Windows 10 Universal app for its media player. This means that users of Win10 PCs, tablets, and mobiles will now be able to use VLC on their devices.

The app features a subtitles downloader and audio management, and supports MKV and FLAC playback among others. It's, however, worth mentioning that the app currently does not include all the features of the classic VLC media player. For example, it does not support DVD or Blurays.

The app is currently listed on the Windows Store - head to the Source link below to download it.
