OnePlus Ace 3 Pro to have a massive battery inside an ultra-thin device

Yordan, 20 June 2024

OnePlus is about to bring the Ace 3 Pro, and several leaksters shared details about the upcoming phone, including battery capacity and memory options.

According to Digital Chat Station, the company has developed bigger batteries while simultaneously making the package thinner. The solution will debut in the Ace 3 Pro and will be implemented in all future flagships, including the OnePlus 13.

The new Ace will have at least three color options – plain Black, leather Green, and Ceramic White; the latter will be sold as "Collector's Edition", according to our machine translation.

Images, shared by DCS, showcased the current 5,000 mAh battery that is in the OnePlus Ace 2 (sold internationally as OnePlus 11R), and the cell is 6 mm thin. The new package will be 6,100 mAh and 5.51 mm thin and should make its way to all kinds of devices with flat or curved sides and front and back panels.

We believe it might be the Glacier Battery, jointly developed by OnePlus and CATL and introduced to the public earlier this week.

Memory-wise, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will have 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage or 24 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. The leakster speculated there might also be a 12/256 GB variant with an affordable price tag of CNY2,999 (about $415) but we are yet to hear from OnePlus whether any of this is real or just wishful thinking.
