Instagram now lets you easily add text and stickers onto your photos

Instagram is now letting you easily add text onto your photos. Not just that, but you can also add a picture on top of a picture as a sticker. This also applies to carousels.

The company says "this gives you the creative flexibility to make your content stand out and explore new, more entertaining, storytelling with photos and carousels".

After you select a photo from your gallery, simply tap on the text button to add some text, or tap the gallery button in the top right corner to layer in additional images as stickers. Tap on the sticker itself to change its shape - you can pick between rectangle, square, circle, heart, or star.

Earlier this month, Instagram increased the carousel limit to be up to 20 photos and videos in a single post. And now, it's also adding new and unique fonts, animations and effects in a simplified text tool for reels and stories. Once you select a font, you can animate the text or add an effect.
