Oppo officially teases its line of MagSafe accessories for Find X8 series and iPhones

Oppo's upcoming Find X8 series will support magnetic accessories, and in fact the company is preparing an entire ecosystem of them to launch alongside the phones next month.

An Oppo exec has shared some of the accessories the company is preparing through a short video on Weibo, which we've added below.

As you can see, the magnetic accessories work with Oppo devices but also work flawlessly with iPhones, and this will probably make them a very interesting proposition for a lot of people buying a Find X8, but who have iPhones in their families - or even use an iPhone as a second device.

Oppo is promising to have magnetic wireless charging in all of its future high-end series, including the next foldable Find N. Oppo's accessories support 50W wireless charging, and presumably the Find X8 series will go that high too.

Interestingly, one of the reasons Oppo quotes for its big move into wireless charging is EVs, which all have wireless charging docks for smartphones. EV adoption among new cars in China is over 50%. The company also says it found that a lot of people are fitting wireless charging docks even on their old cars. With the integrated magnets, such accessories are definitely the easiest to use.

The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will be announced on October 21 or later, according to a recent rumor.
