Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim specs leak shows the iPhone 17 Air has a thing or two to learn
Earlier today a renowned leaker from China told us what to expect from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim in terms of thinness, and now another tipster over on X has shared a purported list of the device's specs.
If these are real, then the also-rumored iPhone 17 Air, with its single rear camera, definitely can learn a thing or two from Samsung's approach to a thinner smartphone.

• 6.66" display (like S25+)
• 200MP HP5 main camera
• 50MP JN5 UW
• 50MP JN5 3.5X telephoto
• SD 8 Elite
• ~4700mAh - 5000mAh🔋
Launching in Q2, 2025 - similar to A & FE series launch timeline.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is said to come with a 6.66-inch display (the same size as that of the S25+, incidentally), the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a battery that will be between 4,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh.
The stars of the show will be on the back, however. The device is allegedly going to have a 200 MP main camera using Samsung's ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom - both of these using the same ISOCELL JN5 sensor.
As rumored before, the Galaxy S25 Slim is once again said not to be releasing alongside the rest of the Galaxy S25 family. While it may very well be showcased at their launch event in late January, the Slim will allegedly join them in stores in the second quarter of next year, so sometime between April and June.

People buy the Ultra because it's the top end S model. Many people simply pick the top end model just because it's the top end, nothing to do with spec.
