Xiaomi unveiled the 14 Ultra for global markets during Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona last year at the end of February, only a few days after its Chinese launch. The 15 Ultra is coming, and you may have been wondering when it will get official.

According to a new rumor out of China, Xiaomi will once again announce its top of the line flagship phone for global markets at MWC, which this year takes place at the beginning of March.

Just like last year, the 15 Ultra is expected to be introduced for the Chinese market at the end of February, a mere few days before the global launch at MWC.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will thus be the first ultra high-end Chinese Android smartphone to arrive this year. The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and to have a "2K" OLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate. It's likely to get a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

On the rear, rumor has it we'll see a 1-inch type Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor for the main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide using the Samsung ISOCELL JN5, a 50 MP close range telephoto, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto which will be marketed to enable 100x hybrid "AI" zoom.

I always installed custom launcher or custom ROM and disable native apps for video, music. In the beginning I used to get commercials on the main screen. Hardware is good for the price, but the bloatware is getting out of control!
