Samsung Galaxy A36 design also revealed in leaked 360° videos

Peter, 13 February 2025

What did you think of the Samsung Galaxy A56 design that was revealed yesterday? Leakster Evan Blass posted 360° clips of the upcoming mid-ranger and he has now done the same for the model that’s one rung lower on the A-series ladder, the Samsung Galaxy A36.

And, yeah, they basically look the same. No surprises here, that is true of the A55 and A35 as well. Anyway, we captured static frames from the 360° animations for your perusal.

And here are the original animations, which show four different colorways (though the black and dark gray appear very, very similar).

For the sake of comparison, here are stills from yesterday’s Galaxy A56 videos. If we switched the labels, would you be able to tell which phone is the A56 and which is the A36?

Samsung went for a camera island design this year, whereas the A55 and A35 had just the individual lenses sticking out. Both phones are expected to have 6.6” OLED displays and 50MP main cameras, details on the other two lenses on the A36 are scarce. Both models should have 5,000mAh batteries with 45W charging. The A36 should be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (the A56 is getting the Exynos 1580 instead).

The Samsung Galaxy A36, A56 (and perhaps the A26) are expected to be unveiled in mid-March. The Galaxy A36 is headed for the US, but we don’t know whether the A56 will join it.
