OnePlus 13T's battery capacity officially revealed, weight too

Vlad, 03 April 2025

The "mini" device OnePlus is currently working on will be called 13T, and it's coming soon. Yesterday, the company teased it in an April Fools video, confirming its name.

Today, step two: battery capacity. A recent rumor talked about the device sporting a 6,200 mAh battery, and now Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, has officially announced that the 13T's battery capacity starts with a 6.

Even if that's the absolute minimum it can be - 6,000 mAh - it would match the battery in the OnePlus 13 which is a much larger device. So the 13T's longevity should be better than what its sibling can produce. In fact, OnePlus says it will be the smaller-screen phone with the largest battery capacity and "best battery life ever". Bold claims indeed.

Furthermore, Li also announced that the 13T weighs just 185g despite packing such a large battery, and it is of course all thanks to the Silicon Carbon tech that's recently been introduced in more and more Chinese phones (and none from Samsung, Apple, or Google).

That's the general trend but these aren't iPhone mini sized phones. The S24 sold more than the S24+. The gap between the S24 Ultra and the regular S24 was much smaller. The iPhone 15 sold more than the Pro or the Plus, but not the Pro Max. ...

Of course its small. Time and age oproven people wants bigger phones and bigger ophones sells better and more. 6 plus by Apple was a big example. 16 pro max by Apple is another big example. Huawei mate X good example.

Maybe yes but still if there will be a pol which phone size is ideal most people would vote for 6,7 inch or bigger thus to my honest opinion.
