Motorola Droid Turbo finally gets Marshmallow update
The Motorola Droid Turbo from 2014 has finally started receiving the Marshmallow update. Arriving as software version 24.81.5.en-US, the update brings Android version 6.0.1.
It isn't yet known what else (if at all) the update includes as Verizon is yet to update the Droid Turbo software page on its website.
Given that the roll out has just begun, it may take some time for the update notification to pop up on your device's screen. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your handset's Settings menu.

I received update on 1/4/17. Battery "saving" features are non-operational. My battery now drains at an unbelievable rate. Last 4 hours lost 65% and the phone wasn't being used. No more Droids for me.
