vivo partners with UEFA to make V30 Pro the official smartphone of Euro 2024
The Euro 2024 tournament is underway, and fans at the stadiums in Germany and in front of the TV screens are seeing vivo ads around the field. This is part of a partnership between the brand and UEFA, which made the vivo V30 Pro the "official smartphone" of the European championship.
This is yet another major football tournament where vivo is a key partner, following the World Cup 2018 in Russia, World Cup 2022 in Qatar, and the Euro 2020 that took place across the whole European continent. The Chinese smartphone brand also partnered with FIFA to promote its devices at the 2017 Confederations Cup tournament.
The vivo V30 Pro with its ZEISS-branded camera is supposed to "enable users to become storytellers of the unforgettable journey" that is the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament.
Yongduan Zhou, GM of the Overseas Product Department at vivo, said in a press release that the "unparalleled imaging capabilities" of the vivo V30 will bring more possibilities for effortlessly capturing the beauty of sports at the games in Germany.
The partnership gets vivo exclusivity on mobile device branding at the stadium and around it and is the only smartphone company with activities in the dedicated fan zones.
Interestingly enough, we have also seen promos of the X100 series, which were launched in Europe in February, but are currently available in just a handful of markets.
