Oppo Find X8 Pro's European price leaks
Oppo unveiled the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro for the Chinese market at the end of last month, and the duo will make its global debut on November 21 at a special event in Bali, Indonesia.
Ahead of that, you may have been wondering what to expect in terms of pricing, and today a new leak from a tipster over on X sheds light on that for the X8 Pro. According to this source, the Find X8 Pro with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will cost €1,199 in Europe.

Here's a useless comparison: the Chinese Find X8 Pro with the same RAM and storage goes for CNY 5,999, which translates into approximately €785 at the current exchange rates. Add a 20% VAT on top and you arrive at around €950 (of course VAT varies across the continent, this is just intended as an average of sorts). The other €250... let's call it "logistics tax" so as not to go full-on "EU tax".
The Oppo Find X8 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1264x2780 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED touchscreen with 4,500-nit peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a quad rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus, 50 MP 3x zoom periscope telephoto, 50 MP 6x optical zoom periscope telephoto), a 32 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,910 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. It runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top.

You are right, these prices are way too high! People will always take an S24 Ultra (Because they know Samsung) for +- 950 EURO. I feel 850 EURO max would be a competitive price for the Oppo Find x8 PRO. I'm not saying it's inferior or anyth...

Knowing this price, I can predict there won't be a X9 in Europe since this won't sell. PROTIP: Establish your brand before you price like you are "the next Apple"
