Redmi A4 5G goes official, starting at INR 8,499
Following its announcement last month, Xiaomi’s Redmi A4 5G is now officially launched in India as the first Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 phone. The device will be available from November 27 via mi.com, Amazon India and partnering online and offline retailers.
The base 4/64GB trim will launch with an introductory price of INR 8,499 ($100), while the 4/128GB version will go for INR 9,499 ($112). Both versions will be available in Sparkle Purple and Starry Black colors.

Redmi A4 5G gets a 6.88-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s an 8MP front-facing camera inside the waterdrop notch and a single 50MP main shooter around the back.
The phone boots Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14 with two years of software updates and four years of security patches. Redmi A4 5G is equipped with a 5,160mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging support, though Xiaomi is bundling a 33W charger in the box.
Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, headphone jack, FM Radio, and a microSD card slot.

boooyyyy they cut the redmi 14r ram due to cost? maann if xiaomi indonesia brings this phone hope there are 6gb and 8gb variant

It seems to me many westerners didn't understand that telecom carrier work differently in east vs. west In many place here in the east, telecom give better rates for 5G than 4G, such as unlimited on 5G or perhaps double quota for 5G.
