Poco X7 runs Geekbench, outs its chipset

Vlad, 02 January 2025

The Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro are going to be announced on January 9, and ahead of that we've heard quite a few things about the Poco X7 Pro, which is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 - a device that just became official earlier today in China.

But we've heard far less about the 'vanilla' Poco X7, aside from seeing it in some renders recently. Today the Poco X7 was spotted in the Geekbench online database, managing a single-core score of 1,032 and a multi-core score of 2,926.

Poco X7 runs Geekbench, outs its chipset

It's powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 Ultra SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM in the prototype which ran the benchmark (but other memory options are likely to be available upon launch). Disappointingly, it looks like the Poco X7 will arrive running Android 14, even though Android 15 has already been available for a few months now. Of course, expect to see Xiaomi's HyperOS on top.

The benchmarked prototype is the version headed to India, with the model number 24095PCADI (that final "I" is for India, in case you're not familiar with Xiaomi's naming scheme). The fact that this is the Poco X7 has previously been confirmed through various international certifications.
