vivo Y29s 5G announced with Dimensity 6300 and familiar design
The vivo Y29s is the third and latest member of the Y29 series. It brings a familiar design that matches the recently launched vivo Y04, but there are some key upgrades to the specs. The big one is the Dimensity 6300 chipset, which brings 5G connectivity. You also get 8GB RAM and 256GB storage as standard.

The Y29s boots the latest Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, unlike the Y04, which launched with version 14 based on Android 14. It also gets a 50MP main cam which is joined by a VGA auxiliary lens.

The remaining specs are taken straight from the Y04, including the 6.74-inch LCD (HD+ 90Hz), 5,500 mAh battery with 15W charging and IP64 rating.

vivo Y29s comes in Titanium Gold, and Jade Green colors. Pricing and availability details were not shared at this point, but we expect to see them soon.

putting a dimensity with emmc is just causing wreak havoc. why did bother putting emmc on a 5G chipset.. it may cause performance instability though. unless they have to underclock it to perform like helio G85

*sigh I thought the proliferation of 5G SoCs would spell the end of eMMC. But no, Vivo (and Oppo) are keeping it alive. 🙄
