vivo Y39 launches with a 50 MP camera and affordable price
The vivo Y39 just launched in India. The entry level phone is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and brings a huge battery increase.

The vivo Y39 is similar to the Y300i in China, sporting the same 6.68" LCD with 120 Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution, as well as a 50 MP main camera. The difference is that the Y39 has a 2 MP secondary shooter on the back, while the selfie camera is bumped to 8 MP.

The vivo Y39 5G comes with a 6,500 mAh battery, which is slowly becoming a standard for vivo — more than 10 phones were announced with this exact capacity in the past two months. Here, the cell supports 44W wired charging. With that the battery can go from 1% to 100% with the charger provided in the retail box in 83 minutes.
The OS is Funtouch 15, sitting on top of Android 15.

The vivo Y39 5G comes in Lotus Purple and Ocean Blue colors. It is already up for sale on Amazon and vivo's own e-store, with prices being INR 16,999 ($200/€185) for 8/128 GB and INR 18,999 ($220/€205) for 8/256 GB.

These comments show that vivo could sell the Redmi A3 for the price of a Galaxy A16 and people would still praise vivo.
