HTC Desire Eye tipped to receive Marshmallow update later this year
The HTC Desire Eye smartphone, which was launched back in November 2014, will get the Marshmallow update sometime later this year. This was revealed by the usually reliable leakster @LlabTooFeR, who said the device will be updated to Android 6.0.1.

— LlabTooFeR (@LlabTooFeR) January 20, 2016For those who aren't already aware, back in September last year, HTC USA released a list of smartphones that the company said will receive the Marshmallow update. The Desire Eye, however, wasn't mentioned in the list.
In addition, @LlabTooFeR also revealed that the Marshmallow update for the handset will also include version 7.0 of the Taiwanese company's Sense UI. The Desire Eye currently runs Android Lollipop with Sense 6.0 UI.

Amen! Totally underrated device. I wish it had more than 16GB base RAM, but with adoptable storage in Marshmallow that problem mostly goes away.
