New Evernote update brings better Google Drive integration

Himanshu, 13 May, 2016

Evernote has pushed out a new update to its Web and Android apps that is aimed at tightly integrating the note-taking service with Google Drive, effectively allowing users to easily access their Drive files in Evernote.

"With this integration, Evernote customers can add any file in Drive to their notes without leaving Evernote," the company said in a blog post. The update also brings along thumbnail previews and a rich viewing experience for added files.

"And any changes to files in Google Drive will dynamically update in Evernote."

The functionality is still in Beta, and - as already mentioned - currently only rolling out to Evernote for Web (on Chrome) and Android. Other platforms will follow soon, the company says.
