T-Mobile Tuesdays broke Domino’s, pizza replaced with $15 Lyft rides

Enrique, 15 June, 2016

Thanks to T-Mobile Tuesday’s overwhelming demand. The Un-Carrier had to let go of free pizza for customers as the demand has tripled and even quadrupled in some stores for a normal Tuesday.

John Legere can be seen tweeting about the overwhelming response to people getting free pizzas. For this reason, T-Mobile is going to end its Tuesday event with Domino’s as it needs to find a better way of managing a large number of orders without overloading the stores of their available employee force.

Legere has already tweeted what T-Mobile customers will get next Tuesday: a free VUDU rental, Frosty from Wendy’s, $20 credit for MLB.com, and a free $15 Lyft which will be useable until Thursday and not just on Tuesday. This will be available next T-Mobile Tuesday which falls on June 21.

I was able to add more than one T-Mobile code for Lyft to my account and let me tell you, having a couple of free rides in New York is wonderful in a place where the majority of the population (including me) does not have a car.
