AT&T has started rolling out the Marshmallow update to LG G Pad X 10.1 units on its network. Weighing in at 869MB and bringing Android version 6.0, the update bumps the software version to V93020f and the build number to MRA58K.

Aside from the usual Marshmallow goodies (such as Doze, Google Now on Tap, and redesigned app permissions), here are the other changes included in the update:

AT&T Services updates

  • AT&T Locker now 2.0
  • Keeper removed
  • myAT&T is a full preloaded app (was weblink)
  • Ready2Go replaced with Setup & Transfer
  • Kindle removed
  • AT&T Mail now a VPL
  • AT&T Messages VPL added
  • DIRECTV VPL added

To refresh, the G Pad X 10.1 comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, and is a slightly tweaked version of the LG G Pad II 10.1. AT&T started selling it in September last year.
