Samsung launches Serif TV in the US

Prasad, 05 July, 2016

Samsung has launched its uniquely designed Serif TV in the US. The TV was announced last year and available in the UK but is just now being launched in the US market.

The standout feature of the TV is obviously the design. From the sides, it looks like an I with its serifs, hence the name. You can keep it as it is or use the stand that has an old fashioned CRT TV stand vibe. The back has a removable fabric cover that hides all the ports and other unsightly bits. The design might not be to everyone's taste but it certainly looks different than most other TVs out there.

The US is getting the top of the line 40-inch 4K variant with HDR, built-in Wi-Fi, Dolby Digital Plus, 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, Samsung Smart TV features, Bluetooth speaker functionality, and more.

The Serif TV is priced at $1,499 and comes in black or white.
