Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 goes official with Helio X20 10-core SoC, 4100mAh battery

As expected, Xiaomi has made official the Redmi Note 4 smartphone. The device is powered by MediaTek's Deca-Core Helio X20 SoC (clocked up to 2.1GHz), and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display.

The phone comes in 2GB/16GB and 3GB/64GB memory configuration, and packs in a 4,100mAh battery. In terms of camera, the handset features a 13MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. There's also a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Measuring 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighing in at around 175g, the device runs Marshmallow-based MIUI 8. Featuring metal unibody design, the phone is available in Silver, Gold, and Dark grey color options.

As for price, the Redmi Note 4 carries a tag of RMB 899 (around $135) for the 16GB model and RMB 1199 (around $180) for the 64GB one. It will be available for purchase in China starting tomorrow (August 26) from Mi.com, Mi Home stores and through China Mobile’s online and offline channels. There's currently no word on if and when it'll land in other markets.
