LG releases a video for UX 5.0+ on Android 7.0 Nougat

Enrique, 06 September 2016

The LG V20 is now official and it’s the first smartphone with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. LG’s G5 came with UX 5.0 out of the box, and the company is bringing something a little more with its UX 5.0+. There’s an LG Health app, which now has some activity tracking features like the ability to count jump rope jumps, but also features exercise goals, and water intake.

There’s also Smart Doctor manager which will help to manage your RAM, storage, and free up any available system resources to help your phone run snappier. Also new, is native blue-light-filter support, baked right into the OS.

The video is just a quick overview of what the new UX 5.0+ has to offer. It’s not radically different from LG’s UX 5.0 that came on the LG G5 already, there are some new audio recording tools which can eliminate background noise, and there are some new video recorder modes which offer exceptional EIS (electronic image stabilization) performance.

The LG V20 has only recently been announced, so pricing and availability will follow on a carrier-by-carrier basis. The LG V20 features a larger 3,200mAh removable battery, 5.7 inch IPS QHD screen, secondary notification display is a bit longer, and the LG V20 gets the same camera setup as the G5 did. And finally, the dual-camera setup makes a return on the LG V20 from the V20. There is a 5MP camera which can switch between a wide-angle lens and normal lens for wide-angled selfies.

Exactly what i was thinking... Sooo many useless features that's gonna make this phone lag as hell! Never buy LG, Samsung or any other phone that has their own UI... it will lag and they will never update it in time to the latest android version!...

So, nothing revolutionary, just your average bloatware-ridden LG UI.
