New HP Elite x3 update brings Camera-related improvements

Himanshu, 25 October 2016

The HP Elite x3 Windows 10 smartphone has started receiving a new update, bumping the firmware version to 0002.0000.0014.0100. The update doesn't bring along any new features, but it contains fixes that significantly improve the device's camera experience.

Specifically, the update - which is being delivered through Windows Update - reportedly makes the Camera app's tap-to-focus and focusing features faster. There are some other changes included as well. For example, the OS is now said to be more responsive, and the 'Lock to lower' feature has been disabled.
