Facebook Messenger now lets you send/receive money through PayPal as well

If you are a Facebook Messenger user who uses the app to send and receive money, you'd be glad to know that the app now supports PayPal transactions as well. The support is currently being rolled out in the United States.

The Messenger app only supported payments through debit cards so far, but now, a select number of users in the US (at-least) can link their PayPal and Messenger accounts. What's more, payment notifications will also be directly delivered within the Messenger app.

"This collaboration continues to showcase our march to be a customer champion," said Bill Ready, EVP, Chief Operating Officer, PayPal.
