Verizon is offering the Moto Z Play for just $10 per month to new customers

The Moto Z Play may not be the top of the line Moto Z model, but it is by far the one with the best battery life, thanks to its big 3,510 mAh cell. Paired with the Snapdragon 625 chipset, that offers pretty great endurance.

The mid-ranger usually goes for $408 at Verizon, or 24 monthly payments of $17. However, right now the carrier has a special offer going for the Moto Z Play. If you're a new customer or you add a line, you can in fact purchase the smartphone using the installment plan by shelling out only $10 per month for two years. That makes its total price $240, a far cry from the normal $408 level.

It's unclear how long this deal will last, and unfortunately it does not apply to those who upgrade. Still, you can get some pretty sweet savings if you go with the Z Play and are a new customer or if you add a line. The MotoMods work with this model too, by the way, so conceivably you can make its endurance even better by adding a battery mod.

The Moto Z Play has a 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080p touchscreen, a 16 MP main camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie snapper with a LED flash of its own, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and it runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
