Lenovo launches Phab 2 Plus in India

Lenovo has launched the new Phab 2 Plus smartphone in India. It is priced at INR 14,999 ($225) and available exclusively through Amazon India.

The Phab 2 Plus has a massive 6.4-inch 1080p display, just slightly smaller than the 6.44-inch display on the Xiaomi Mi Max. Like the Mi Max, the Phab 2 Plus has a full metal body with a fingerprint sensor on the back. Also on the back is a dual camera system that produces shallow depth of field using the information from the second camera. The phone also features Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 for 360 degree sound recording.

On the inside, the Phab 2 Plus runs on a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT8783 with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. The phone includes Dolby Atmos sound effect and also comes with JBL Hybrid Earphones bundled in the box. The battery is 4050mAh, markedly smaller than the stellar 4850mAh battery on the Mi Max.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is available in champagne gold, and on sale starting today.
