Battery limiting update now rolling out to all Samsung Galaxy Note7 units in US

Himanshu, 09 November 2016

Less than a week after units on T-Mobile started getting it, Samsung has revealed that it has started pushing out the battery limiting update to all Galaxy Note7 units in the United States.

The update, as you might already know, limits the device to a maximum charge of 60%. Not only this, after the update, users will also see a reminder pop-up notification each time they charge, reboot, or turn on the screen of their device.

Some other markets including Europe, Australia, and South Korea have already received the update.

These devices should be put into a safe. And users be given replacement units for their daily use. This way, they get to keep their devices too and use another one.
