Europe might not officially get Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) either

Himanshu, 23 November 2016

Looks like the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) won't be officially made available in Europe. A quick look at the tech giant's Austria website reveals that the list of Gear S3 compatible devices doesn't include the Galaxy A7 (2017), while the Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) are there.

To be clear, Samsung is yet to confirm availability details for the Galaxy A7 (2017) - in fact, the company hasn't confirmed any details about the 2017 iteration of its Galaxy A series. However, if this (A7 (2017) not coming to Europe) does turn out to be true, it shouldn't be a big surprise as the A7 (2016) was also not officially launched in the region.

Specs-wise, from what all has been revealed so far, the Galaxy A7 (2017) is powered by Samsung's Exynos 7870 chipset, and is expected to sport a 5.5" or 5.7" 1080p touchscreen. Other key specs include 16MP/16MP camera combo, 3GB/(32 or 64)GB memory configuration, as well as fingerprint sensor.

A5 2016 is going to have Exynos 7870 as well. It's not the fastest but it's better than current Exynos 7580.
