Huawei Mate 9 update brings December security patch, 10x digital zoom

Huawei has started rolling out a new update to its Mate 9 smartphone. Arriving as build version MHA-AL00C00B153 and weighing in at 278MB, the update brings along the Android security fixes for December.

Aside from the latest security patch, the update also includes several other changes, including 10x digital zoom option in the camera as well as some performance related improvements.

As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take some time for the update to hit your device.If you feel impatient, you can manually check by heading to your handset's Settings menu.

I have the same problem the was a update around 400MB and my phone only hole power for around 24h weary irritating. only have this phone for 3 mounds >> "I installed this update and without any new apps or changes to my settings, my Mate 9 b...

I've been using Mate 9 for 3 weeks, and it's really a great phone.
