If you have been keeping close tabs on the Chinese mobile market lately, then you might have heard about the LeEco Cool 1 Dual. The handset was developed as a joint venture between LeEco and its now subsidiary Coolpad and unveiled in August.

Today the pair announced the handset's launch in India with a suggested price tag of INR 13,999 or around $205. For that you get a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and the Snapdragon 652 SoC.

The camera department has a 13MP main shooter to offer, complete with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, a dual-tone LED flash and capable of recording up to 4K video. The selfies are covered by an 8MP camera, with f/2.2 aperture and a wide 80-degree lens.

The Coolpad Cool1 is a dual-SIM device, but sadly doesn't offer a microSD card slot. Other features include VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C and a respectable 4,000 mAh battery. Sales in India will kick off on January 5, via Amazon for the aforementioned price. As for color options, there are Gold and Silver Gold to choose between.
