Amazon had record sales this holiday season

Amazon Inc. reported it had the best holiday season yet. The retailer said it shipped more than 1 billion items including its Prime and Fulfillment services. Earlier we told you about a record number of orders for Alexa devices that got the smart speaker out of stock until mid-January. In a message to media Amazon stated that speakers sold nine times faster than during the 2015 holiday season.

Since no one expected such interest to speakers, most retailers decided not to risk with overstocking and apparently they failed in their prediction. Hopefully supply will catch up early into 2017.

All my shopping is done on Amazon, just got myself a (Cubot note s) for £68 and love it, puts my old note 3 to shame :-)

Amazon would have even more sales if they would introduce PayPal too. I can't believe it haven't been done yet and unfortunately their own security is not as strong as it could have been.

Yes... Amazon is always my first choice for shopping. Absolutely pleasant shopping experience, and moreover hassled-free return process. Placed 9 orders ;)
