Honor 6X's first US flash sale was a success, it sold out in 25 minutes

Vlad, 11 January 2017

With the recently announced 6X, Huawei sub-brand Honor is doing something interesting in the US, combining a traditional online-only sales model with weekly flash sales that offer a price cut for the new smartphone. So if you're impatient you don't have to wait for a flash sale to purchase the Honor 6X, but if you can wait you're able to save a cool $50 compared to its usual price by purchasing it through a flash sale from the official online store.

The first such flash sale for the unlocked Honor 6X took place in the US earlier today. It let you buy the phone for just $199.99, down from the $249.99 you normally have to pay.

And according to Honor it was a "huge success". The device sold out in 25 minutes, which sounds great until you realize that the Huawei sub-brand did not share how many units it had prepared for the flash sale. This being a big company though we assume it wasn't something like hundreds. Anyway, Honor will be back with a new flash sale for the 6X in one week's time, on January 18 starting at 12 PM CT. Until that happens you have plenty of time to read our hands-on report in order to familiarize yourself with the handset.

Then you're not following tech well. Also, your ''five units'' joke is not funny.
