Sony Xperia E5 getting new security update

Himanshu, 20 January 2017

The Sony Xperia E5 has started receiving a new update. Arriving as build number 37.0.A.2.156, and currently hitting units in Europe, it's a security update that includes Android fixes for the month of October.

It isn't yet known what other changes (if any) the update brings along. As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take some time for the update to hit your device. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for it by heading to your handset's Settings menu.

I wasn't gonna bring Samsung into the conversation. (Why should I?) I know you may be tired of the many trolls out there, but rest assured I am NOT one of them. Cheers! :)
