Twitter introduces new Explore tab

Twitter has announced the new Explore tab, an Instagram-esque section that should make keeping tab of things happening outside of your timeline easier.

Explore combines three of Twitter's existing features; search, trends, and Moments. Instead of a tab just for Moments and search and trends being in another area, the new Explore tab will bring them all under one roof. This is similar to the Explore tab on Instagram, that combines the search and suggested content from people you don't follow but may have common friends or interests with.

The Explore tab is rolling out today on Twitter for iOS and will be coming to the Android version over the coming weeks.
