Apple outs first watchOS 3.2 beta to developers, SiriKit support and Theater Mode are in

The previously announced SiriKit and Theater Mode functionalities for the Apple Watch are now ready to be tested. A new beta version of watchOS for Apple's wearables is now available, yet only for developers. A public beta version of this build will unfortunately not surface, since there's no way to downgrade software on an Apple Watch and the company feels that public beta testers should always have the option of going back to a past stable build if they want to.

watchOS 3.2 beta incorporates SiriKit support, which means you'll finally get the full-featured Siri on your watch, and not just the limited functionality version that's been in until this point. With SiriKit you'll be able to ask Siri to send messages, send payments, book rides, log workouts, make phone calls, search through photos, and many more things. Essentially, this lets Siri on your wrist work with third-party apps just as it's been doing on iOS devices since the release of iOS 10.

Theater Mode for the Apple Watch will mute sounds and disable the 'raise to wake' function, preventing the screen from turning on when you move your arm. This should in theory help you annoy people a lot less often when you're in dark place such as a movie theater. With this turned on, you still receive notification vibrations, and you can wake your wearable up by tapping the screen or pressing the Digital Crown.
